 I usually never watch the Oscars because I feel that it's very biased on the movies they pick to win. You can go back in history and look at what films won and didn't win and you will be very surprised of what movie won. Citizen Cane which is arguable one of the best films in history. The movie that won it that year was How Green Was My Valley, have you heard of it? Another shocking movie that won Was Shakespeare in Love, it beats out Saving private Ryan that year. I just don't get it who decides the movies that get nominated the Avengers became the highest film grossed in box office history, and yet it was only nominated for one award this year. I think it was a smart move to cast Seth McFarland to attract the younger audience, it boosted the ratings to 11 percent this year. Did this year Oscars keep me more interested? Yes it did I was happy that Argo won since Ben Affleck didn't even get nominated for Best picture
