Iron Man 3
I went into this movie with high expectations. I
Liked the first Iron Man movie and the 2nd one wasn’t as bad as many people
said. The trailers for this movie were excellent. I thought this was going to
be an epic ride. Right from the gecko we see the tone of this movie is campy.
Now I’m not against movies that are a little campy, but when you have a trilogy
and the first movie was serious you expect that tone to carry over to the next
movies. The script was filled with plot holes things didn’t make since and I’m
not nitpicking I can let some stuff go but in this case the flaws in the script
stood out like a sore thumb. Another problem I had with this movie was Tony Stark;
even though Robert Downy Jr. brings a great performance as usual the character
just falls flat to me. They try to make him human by giving him anxiety from
the events in the avengers but this only happens 3 times in the movie. The rest
of the movie you’re never worried about him because you know he’s going to make
a one liner and get out of a situation. The villain The mandarin played by Ben Kingsly
starts out good but there’s a twist that I’m not going to spoil that’s going to
piss off a lot of comic book fans of Iron Man. I know this movie is getting
good reviews I don’t understand why I hated it I give this a 4/10
